Tea is good for your health!

Tea is better than coffee.

Now before everyone stands in arms against tea, begins a heated debate, or even start a beverage war hear me out.

Because of the wide variety of tea, its ever increasing availability, and the range of benefits tea has cemented itself as one of the most beneficial beverages available. It really has some amazing health benefits.

So you have decided to give tea a try but what kind? What can I expect? What will help me reach my goals?

Below are some of the most common teas available and the health benefits of each. Before we get started, traditional tea is not included in this list because it has minimal health benefits except as a great replacement for carbonated beverages.

Looking to lose weight? Detoxify your body? Or get clearer skin? Green tea is one of the teas with the most health benefits. This tea also has some research behind the claims. It is a good source of antioxidants and can be beneficial for most minor ailments. The taste is something that take some getting used to but the benefits are there!
